Personality: Toxic. Used to always getting what she wants and being treated like royalty, Anabelle is a spoiled brat who knows that she can get away with nearly anything. Despite this, however, she’s incredibly talented and pretty–and very determined. She doesn’t like failure, and won’t accept it, so she works hard to make sure that everything falls into place perfectly. Of course, that “working hard” may involve blackmail, bribery and barter, but hey, she’s a girl with a mission, right?

Storyline: After a prank on a girl who offended her goes horribly awry, Anabelle finds herself in a rather tight spot. Her best friend was the one who turned her in, her parents are out of their jobs, her acceptance to the prestigious Coronet Academy of Magic has been revoked, and she’s not as rich as she thought she was.

However, any school is better than the shame of not going to magic school at all, since her parents were highly-ranked mages of their kind and served in high-up positions before they were asked to leave because of her wrongdoings. So Anabelle finds herself at Landomel Academy, a large local school with too many students and too little funding.

Frustrated, angry, and thirsting for revenge, Anabelle is initially frosty to her classmates and flippant with the teachers, earning her many detentions and not a whole lot of goodwill. However, when the posters come in for the Pan-Talamar Academic Magic Tourney, Anabelle realizes that she’s going to have to actually make some friends to get the school into it. And maybe–(gasp!)–become a halfways decent person.
